MAD Wurks MTC3 1.6 Carbon Fiber Top Deck (1)

The MAD Wurks 1.6 Carbon Fiber top deck for the Mugen MTC3 offers more flex and grip than stock top decks.  

After testing in various conditions, it was determined that the 1.6mm carbon fiber top decks can be a good tuning option to add steering, a smoother feel, and more grip than 2mm or thicker decks. These top decks would be inbetween the feel of a 2mm g10 and a 2mm carbon fiber deck.

The factory recess for the pinion clearance has been eliminated for equal flex and additional durability.  For most pinions, this is a non-issue.  If you have a pinion that does need clearance, it is recommended to you a drum style sanding wheel to slightly clearance as needed and make that run across the full width for more equal flex characteristics.

The body brace countersinks have also been removed as most people do not use them, but the hold remains if you want to countersink yourself.  This was done to increase durability with thinner top decks.
