RTR Racing Motor Break In Fluid (12oz)

If your looking for a fast a proven way to break-in and clean your slot car motors at the same time, then this is for you. Being in the motor business means we get plenty of experience breaking in motors and seating brushes. After years of trying different products and not being entirely satisfied, we had our own formula created. This is what we use in house, on every motor, packaged in a sealed and travel sized 12 oz. jar with nice wide mouth lid. This allows you to reduce mess and store it in your box for traveling to races. It also works great cleaning chassis and acid flux after soldering.

How should you use this on your motors?

Attach motor to power supply leads and place running motor into container. We recommend letting motor run in break-in fluid for 10 second intervals, check the brushes as you go. Be careful to not leave the running motor in break-in fluid too long or it could result in motor failure. Once brushes are seated remove motor and dry with canned or compressed air. Once motor is dry re-conncect motor to power supply and let it run dry for a short period. This will allow motor to dry and create a brush track on the commutator.
