Max MXLR is behind Max Mächler - an internationally successful RC racer.
High Quality and Max Exclusive Products - Engineered in Germany.
Each product has been carefully selected and developed.
No blunt relabeling - but quality as Max uses it everyday life on the race tracks of this world!

This is the updated version of the prototype that Max Mächler used in his World Championship victory 2023 - adapted to the new requirements of the new Awesomatix A12X.
The use of a 30mm fan - fed with 6V from the receiver - was definitely no downside!

It is not easy to integrate such a large and strong fan in the A12 - but smaller fans than 30mm were no option because no performance should be lost. At the World Championships himself, Max used a very significantly modified fan to get it under the body. After several tests and other versions, a solution was found that was hardly any modification. The fan was further set forward and attached steeper to the holder. The key to success to get the air flow where it is supposed to go are the small side covers.

The result of using this holder together with a 30mm fan at 6.0V voltage is a significantly reduced motor temperature.
Depending on the track layout and the handle conditions, this construction reduces the temperature by 12-18°C.

The MXLR fan holder is 3D printed - made of a rather strongly resilient material which is able to absorb impacts up to a certain point.
In the tests, there were no defects in departures. In the end, however, there is a 3D printed part with the corresponding sensitivity - a risk of breaking on departure remains.

The goal was to coordinate the holder as lightly and at the same time resilient as possible. Without fans and screws, the part weighs only 2.6g. The use of M3x12mm aluminum screws is recommended (not included, but available at RCK) - in conjunction with a 30mm fan (also not included).
TIP: Does not overturn the screws. It's just plastic!
The total weight is fully assembled at approx. 12.5g - depending on the fan used.
Longer screws (M3x12mm, not included) are required for mounting on the lateral carbon plates.
Depending on the rechargeable battery used and the shims below the plates, additional shims may be required (not included) to set the height of the fan holder.
The O-ring OR230 may not be needed to fix the battery because the fan holder itself holds the battery in place.

Depending on the mounting position and the height of the body used, the fan should be able to run freely and should not touch the polycarbonate.
In tests with the most used car bodies (AMR, Ponente, M20), it was only necessary for the M20 to easily grind the corners of the fan away to get space.
With GT bodies there should be no space problems.

Note:
Please do not forget that this product is a product of a 3D printer. One can therefore see layers and lines of the material.
MXLR strives for the best possible quality and therefore uses 3D printers which are also able to deliver them - however, a 3D printed part will always be different from a milled or injection part in the surface finish.

Note:
Additional parts or cars can be shown on the figures of MXLR that are not included in the scope of delivery and should only represent the application with practical examples. These parts are not included in the delivery of the article.
Before using MXLR products, it is very important to read the general safety instructions. These are located on this page - as do the product instructions - as well as the product instructions: INSTRUCTIONS
